Meet the Faculty
Pamela Cosman is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCSD. She received her Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1993 and has been on the faculty
at UCSD since 1995. Her research is in the areas of image and video processing
and wireless communications.
Xinyu Zhang is an associate professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC San Diego. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2012. Zhang’s research focuses on wireless networking and mobile computing, more specifically on wireless network architectures that can achieve orders of magnitude performance gain over conventional networks, and computational sensing mechanisms that reuse wireless signals to sense ambient activities with near-vision precision.
